Challenges and Solutions

The vision for this project was to create a versatile entertainment space that catered to both large gatherings and intimate evenings under the stars. Expanding the deck and roof structure posed challenges in maintaining harmony with the existing architecture while meeting the client’s need for distinct zones—outdoor cooking, covered seating, and open areas. Reconfiguring existing fencing and designing seamless transitions between the new and old structures added to the complexity of the project.

Final Outcome

The project delivered an expansive entertainment space that balances functionality and beauty. The extended deck and roof structure provide ample room for hosting, with dedicated zones for cooking, dining, and unwinding by the fire. Premium materials, such as the tongue-and-groove ceiling and treated skirting, lend sophistication, while practical features like lighting and heating enhance usability. This transformation reflects Southwest Fence & Deck’s dedication to creating exceptional outdoor living spaces tailored to every client’s vision.
