Celebrating 42 Years of Southwest Fence & Deck

On June 6, 2026, Southwest Fence & Deck celebrated 42 years of designing and building outdoor spaces throughout Dallas-Fort Worth and North Texas.

For more than four decades, our story has been shaped by the hard work and support of our family, employees, customers, manufacturers, suppliers, and industry partners. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has trusted us with their outdoor projects. From fences and decks to complete outdoor living spaces, your confidence has made this journey possible.

Our 42-year history represents more than longevity. It represents decades of relationships, lessons learned, problems solved, craftsmanship refined, and knowledge passed from one generation to the next.

More Than 300 Years of Combined Industry Experience

Today, the Southwest Fence & Deck team represents more than 300 years of combined industry knowledge and experience.

From our leadership and office team to the field crews who bring each project to life, we are fortunate to work alongside people who have dedicated decades of their careers to this industry. Several members of our field team have been with Southwest Fence & Deck for more than 30 years.

And that is only part of the story. Our field crews collectively bring decades of additional hands-on experience to every project.

Experience That Makes a Difference

Every outdoor project brings its own set of challenges, and that’s where our experience makes a difference.

Over the years, we’ve worked alongside manufacturers, suppliers, and test engineers to develop and implement new products. We’ve helped troubleshoot challenges, refine installation techniques, and establish best practices.

Because of this experience, our team understands not only how products are designed to perform, but how they actually perform in North Texas over time.

Whether we are designing a custom fence, an automatic gate, a deck, a patio cover, or a complete outdoor living environment, our goal is to apply what we have learned while continuing to look for better ways to design and build.

That commitment to learning is why we believe education and experience go hand in hand. Our team continues to learn about new products, materials, techniques, and industry best practices so we can deliver finished projects that meet, and hopefully exceed, our customers’ expectations.

More important than any number of years or projects is something our customers have given us that must continually be earned: their trust.

Many customers have become friends. Others have returned to us for additional projects or trusted us with new homes and new ideas. That confidence motivates us to work harder, pay attention to the details, solve problems thoughtfully, and continually raise the standard for ourselves.

We know perfection may be an impossible goal, but that doesn’t mean we stop pursuing it.

We will continue learning. We will continue improving. Most importantly, we will continue challenging ourselves to be better at what we do.
